## About

Adcor Defense is a firearms manufacturer in Baltimore, Maryland and a wholly owned subsidiary of Adcor Industries, a defence contract supplier of more than twenty years. It employs around 160 people in a 65,000 square foot plant with CNC machining and its own quality control laboratory. The B.E.A.R., short for Brown Enhanced Automatic Rifle and named for Michael J. Brown who designed it, is an M4-pattern rifle with a patented gas piston system carried on the rail so the barrel free floats, a key-locked rail, an ambidextrous forward charging handle and a polymer dust shield. All components are made in the United States. The catalog lists it in .223 Remington.
