# Akkar

## About

Akkar Silah Sanayi was established in Istanbul in 1985 and is based in Tuzla. It began producing pump-action and gas-operated semi-automatic shotguns under the Altay name in 1992, and later added break-open guns under its Churchill brand. Akkar holds several trademarks including Churchill, Mammut, Altay and Karatay, and it manufactures shotguns, parts and accessories for other companies as well as under its own names. The company is accredited to ISO 9001-2015. Its guns include the 512 and 812 field models and 12 and 20-gauge pump shotguns.
