# American Precision Firearms

## About

American Precision Firearms brought the Arsenal Firearms Strike One to the United States market and works with Arsenal on variants of it. The Strike One is a striker-fired, short-recoil 9mm introduced in 2012, built on either a polymer or an Ergal frame, with a 5-inch barrel, a 7.97-inch overall length and 17-round magazines. Its defining feature is a very low bore axis, roughly 0.47 inches from the top of the grip to the centre of the barrel, and a barrel that moves straight back rather than tilting, which reduces muzzle flip. The Strike One Speed adds the Speedlock system and a flat competition trigger. The company also sells the Second Century in .45 ACP.
