## About

DoubleStar Corp is based in Winchester, Kentucky. Jack and Teresa Starnes began selling reloading parts at gun shows in 1978 as J&T Munitions, which became J&T Distributing and was among the first civilian outlets for brands such as Knight's Armament and Magpul. When customers asked for complete guns built from the same parts, Teresa and her son Jesse formed DoubleStar, the name coming from the two Starnes. The company builds AR-15 rifles and pistols in the United States, including the Star-15 and the Dragon in 5.56 NATO, and sells stripped lower receivers.
