## About

McMillan Firearms is based in Phoenix, Arizona. Ryan McMillan co-founded McMillan Firearms Manufacturing in 2007, and it was sold to Strategic Armory Corps in late 2013. The TAC-50 is the company's best known rifle, a .50 BMG anti-materiel rifle developed from designs that first appeared in the late 1980s and in production since the mid-1990s. Canada adopted it as the C15 long-range sniper weapon in 2000, and it held the record for the longest confirmed sniper kill from 2017 to 2023. McMillan also builds the Tac series of bolt-action rifles in .300 Winchester Magnum, .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor.
