### Features

The break action opens and closes cleanly, and the hand-oiled walnut varies slightly piece to piece. No external safety; the design relies on the action being open until you're ready to shoot.

### Usage
The Little Sharps fits naturally in sport shooting, light hunting, and display collecting. The 26-inch barrel and .45 Colt combination suits deliberate, aimed fire rather than fast follow-up shots. Single-shot discipline makes that a feature rather than a limitation.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

The Chiappa Little Sharps in .45 Colt draws mostly positive feedback, with the color case receiver and oiled walnut stock consistently mentioned as highlights. Owners who care about traditional aesthetics tend to be happy with how it presents.

Shooting performance is generally well-regarded for target work and small game. The .45 Colt caliber gets credit for manageable recoil and sufficient versatility. Accuracy feedback is positive, with most owners reporting good groups at reasonable distances once they dial in the adjustable sights.

Practical concerns come up around weight and the single-shot format. A few owners find the 6-lb rifle heavier than expected for all-day carry, and the break-action mechanism takes some practice to cycle quickly under pressure. Neither complaint dominates the conversation. They read more as adaptation notes than real complaints.

Overall the sentiment is positive among those who want a classic-styled rifle. The design limitations are known going in, and most buyers who want a traditional single-shot appreciate what the Little Sharps delivers.
