### Detailed Features

The single-action mechanism means you cock the hammer before each shot, which naturally slows the pace and tends to improve shot discipline during target work.

The barrel and frame are stainless steel, so corrosion resistance is good without any coatings to wear through. Fixed sights (blade front, V-notch rear) keep target acquisition fast and leave nothing to snag.

The smooth walnut grip is one piece, which gives it a clean look and a consistent feel in hand across sessions.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

Owners of the Cimarron Frontier Stainless in .357 Mag generally land in the same place: they like the old-style look paired with stainless durability, and they appreciate being able to shoot both .357 and .38 Spl through the same gun depending on what's on hand.

Shooting feel gets consistent praise. The action is smooth, the weight is manageable, and the caliber doesn't beat you up over a long range session when you're running .38 Spl. Those who use it for casual competition or historical reenactments seem especially satisfied.

On the critical side, the revolver is bulkier than a compact semi-auto, which some people notice during extended carry. Price comes up regularly. $726 MSRP puts it above budget single-actions, and a few buyers feel the gap versus comparable options isn't fully justified. Most who accept the cost say the fit and finish back it up.
