The historical styling and walnut birdshead grip are genuine draws. Owners comment on the craftsmanship, and the grip design gets specific praise for comfort and distinctiveness relative to standard SAA revolvers. The smooth action and reliable range performance draw positive marks from casual shooters and collectors alike. Accuracy at longer distances is noted as a limitation by some owners, which is partly inherent to the 3.5-inch barrel and wide front sight rather than a build quality issue. Weight during extended shooting sessions comes up occasionally, though at 1.79 lbs this is a mild point. Capacity at 6 rounds is debated when compared to modern semi-automatic pistols. The classic cylinder design has its supporters, but buyers coming from higher-capacity firearms occasionally note the limitation. Overall sentiment is positive. The vintage appeal, practical shooting performance, and quality of the walnut grip drive most of the appreciation, while the expected limitations of a compact single-action .38 are acknowledged without significantly dampening enthusiasm. ## Pricing **14 offers available** | Vendor | Price | |--------|-------| | Grabagun Com | $589.99 | | Shootingsurplus Com | $597.53 | | Gritrsports Com | $599.99 | | Kygunco Com | $602.15 | | Buds Gun Shop | $610.99 | | Impactguns Com | $611.09 | | Centerfiresystems Com | $613.99 | | RK Guns | $619.99 | | Palmettostatearmory Com | $622.99 | | Gunbuyer Com | $624.67 | *...and 4 more offers* ## Similar Products - [Cimarron 1872 Open Top Navy .38 Special SA Revolver - 7.5" Blued](https://gunsnation.com/p/cimarron-1872-open-top-navy-38-special-sa-revolver-7-5-blued/UCErWCFuw) - [Cimarron Lightning .38 Special 4.75in Blued](https://gunsnation.com/p/cimarron-lightning-38-special-4-75in-blued/UCEKle93f) - [Cimarron Pistolero Revolver .357/.38 - Nickel 4.75" SAO Classic](https://gunsnation.com/p/cimarron-pistolero-revolver-357-38-nickel-4-75-sao-classic/UCErWCN9T) - [Cimarron Lightning CA980DC .38 Special 9mm 3.50in Blued](https://gunsnation.com/p/cimarron-lightning-ca980dc-38-special-9mm-3-50in-blued/UCErWCpsa) - [Cimarron Pistolero .45 LC Classic Nickel SA Revolver 4.75" Walnut Grip](https://gunsnation.com/p/cimarron-pistolero-45-lc-classic-nickel-sa-revolver-4-75-walnut-grip/UCErWCN95) - [Cimarron Hollywood 1851 SAO Revolver, .38 Special, Rattlesnake Inlay](https://gunsnation.com/p/cimarron-hollywood-1851-sao-revolver-38-special-rattlesnake-inlay/UCErWCHHF) --- *Data from [GunsNation](https://gunsnation.com)*
