## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

Owners of the CMMG Dissent Mk3 in 8.6 BLK are drawn to the cartridge's suppressor-oriented performance, and most mention the Coyote Tan finish as a practical choice that holds up to handling. The 12.5-inch barrel makes this a compact package, and the Dissent platform's overall fit and finish gets consistent praise from those who compare it to other AR-pattern pistols.

The 8.6 BLK chambering is a topic on its own. Owners who shoot it suppressed describe the combination as one of the better large-bore subsonic setups available, while those who shoot it unsuppressed note the cartridge was clearly designed with a can in mind and feels less compelling without one. Magazine compatibility and ammunition availability are recurring questions for new buyers.

The Mk3 frame and the Dissent's overall ergonomics receive good marks, though a few owners flag the 20+1 magazine as a notable advantage over other pistol-configuration options in this class. Price is considered fair given the chambering and build quality, with the main ongoing cost being 8.6 BLK ammunition.
