## Description

The CVA Scout TD is a single-shot break-open rifle chambered in .350 Legend, with a 20" fluted stainless barrel and a fixed synthetic stock. Single-shot break-opens are a practical choice in jurisdictions with straight-wall cartridge requirements for deer season, and .350 Legend fits that use case well: manageable recoil, adequate deer-hunting energy, and good availability of ammunition.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

Owners of the CVA Scout TD in .350 Legend generally find it a practical, no-frills deer rifle.

The break-open design draws consistent appreciation for how easy it is to load, clear, and transport. For hunters who need a single legal round for deer season, the simplicity is a feature rather than a limitation.

.350 Legend gets favorable marks for its recoil level and effectiveness on deer. Most users report clean kills at hunting distances and find the cartridge more comfortable to shoot than larger straight-wall options.

The stainless construction is noted as a plus for hunting in variable weather. Users who hunt in rain or humid conditions specifically mention appreciating it.

Criticism is limited. The weight at 7.30 lbs comes up occasionally as heavier than expected for a single-shot, and some users find the stock geometry takes some adjustment. Neither is a dealbreaker for most.
