### Features:

The striker action gives a consistent trigger pull with a short reset, which works well for quick follow-up shots. At 17 rounds the G45 gives you room to work without frequent reloads, useful in defensive situations and competition alike. The grip contours are designed to reduce fatigue during longer sessions. The matte black finish cuts glare outdoors and holds up to regular use.

The G45 suits a range of shooters: first-time owners who want straightforward reliability, competition shooters who need speed, and those who want a capable home-defense handgun with high capacity.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

The Glock G45 Gen 1 gets consistently positive marks for reliability and build quality. Owners across self-defense, law enforcement, and competition backgrounds tend to agree it runs well and holds up over time.

The grip is a frequent point of praise, comfortable for a wide range of hand sizes, which contributes to better control and follow-through. The matte black finish holds up and the 17-round capacity is a clear advantage for those who prioritize not reloading under pressure.

The main criticism is size. The full-size frame is a plus at the range but it makes the G45 harder to conceal than more compact Glock models, and some users switch to a smaller option for daily carry. Performance feedback is largely positive, smooth operation and low perceived recoil from the striker-fired system, though preferences vary based on what someone is comparing it to.

Overall the G45 has a strong reputation as a reliable, full-capacity 9mm with a comfortable grip and straightforward operation.
