Most buyers know going in what they're getting, a budget carbine, and tend to judge it on those terms. Affordability and reliability come up constantly in positive discussions. Owners report the carbine feeds and functions through extended range sessions with minimal issues. The user-friendly controls and straightforward design get mentioned often, particularly from newer shooters who find it easy to learn on. The weight gets mixed responses. Some owners appreciate the solid feel; others find the 6.25 lbs. combined with the overall bulk a bit much compared to lighter alternatives. Aesthetics are a minor discussion point. The black finish is generally well-received, though some owners feel the overall look doesn't match higher-end carbines. Aftermarket support for the 995TS has a decent following, with owners often running additional accessories via the Weaver rails. Hi-Point customer service receives more positive mentions. Owners report reasonable response times when issues come up. That said, experiences vary and a minority of users have had friction getting support. Overall, the 995TS occupies a clear place in the market: a functional, affordable 9mm carbine that competes on value rather than refinement. ## Pricing **5 offers available** | Vendor | Price | |--------|-------| | Shootingsurplus Com | $315.30 | | Globalordnance Com | $323.78 | | Grabagun Com | $329.99 | | Buds Gun Shop | $335.49 | | Impactguns Com | $343.29 | ## Reviews **Average Rating:** 5.0/5 (1 reviews) > **jcrane** (5/5): Solid construction, enjoyable shooting, and very good accuracy. ## Similar Products - [Hi-Point 995TS 9mm Carbine - Black, Adjustable Sights](https://gunsnation.com/p/hi-point-995ts-9mm-carbine-black-adjustable-sights/UCDFCnDCT) - [Hi-Point 995TS Carbine - 9mm, Semi-Auto, 16.5" Barrel, Black](https://gunsnation.com/p/hi-point-995ts-carbine-9mm-semi-auto-16-5-barrel-black/UCDFCnDCr) - [Hi-Point 995TS Pink Camo 9mm Semi-Auto Carbine](https://gunsnation.com/p/hi-point-995ts-pink-camo-9mm-semi-auto-carbine/UCDFCpJIK) - [Hi-Point 995TS 9mm Semi-Auto Carbine | 16.5" Barrel | Black](https://gunsnation.com/p/hi-point-995ts-9mm-semi-auto-carbine-16-5-barrel-black/UCDFCmpnL) - [Patriot Hi-Point 995TS Carbine 9mm Semi-Auto OD Green](https://gunsnation.com/p/patriot-hi-point-995ts-carbine-9mm-semi-auto-od-green/UCDFCqZTv) - [Hi-Point 995TS Carbine: 9mm Semi-Auto, 16.5" Barrel, Black Finish](https://gunsnation.com/p/hi-point-995ts-carbine-9mm-semi-auto-16-5-barrel-black-finish/UCDFCmpnc) --- *Data from [GunsNation](https://gunsnation.com)*
