### Features

The P30L is the long-slide variant of the P30 family. The 4.45-inch barrel with polygonal rifling contributes to both muzzle velocity and service life. DA/SA V3 configuration means the first shot from a decocked state fires double-action; subsequent shots fire single-action. The decocker-only setup carries safely with a round chambered while keeping the single-action follow-up shots accessible. Interchangeable backstraps allow fit adjustments for different hand sizes, a practical feature shared with the full P30 line. The Picatinny rail accepts lights and lasers. At 17+1 capacity in 9mm, the magazine holds well for a service-size pistol.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

The P30L V3 earns strong marks for ergonomic design, interchangeable grip customization, and the reputation HK has built around reliability with a wide range of ammunition. The Picatinny rail, 17+1 capacity, and build quality are consistent positives.

The DA/SA trigger system divides opinions. Users familiar with the system or coming from similar platforms appreciate the versatility. Shooters accustomed to striker-fired pistols often find the transition less intuitive. Some find the gun large and heavy relative to carry-focused alternatives in 9mm. Overall, the P30L V3 draws respect from users who value the DA/SA platform and HK's build standards, with the trigger system being the main discussion point.
