Polymer frame keeps the weight at 23 oz for a subcompact. The FDE/black two-tone color scheme is specific to this variant.

Two magazines are included: a flush 12-round and a 15-round extended that adds grip length. Both are usable; the 15-round option makes the VP9SK handle more like a compact.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

The VP9SK earns consistent praise for build quality and the interchangeable backstrap system. HK's manufacturing reputation carries into owner experience. Most describe it as tight, well-fitted, and reliable across a range of ammunition. Accuracy relative to its size gets positive marks, and the trigger gets mostly favorable feedback.

Criticism focuses on two areas: size and price. Some buyers find it bulkier than expected for a subcompact. It weighs more and has a wider grip than some competitors. Price is higher than similarly-sized options from other brands, which prompts frequent comparison discussions. Trigger take-up is occasionally noted as more than some shooters prefer. The FDE/black aesthetic appeals strongly to buyers who specifically want it; others would prefer a fully matte option. Overall the VP9SK is well-regarded among shooters who prioritize fit, finish, and reliability over compact dimensions.
