The Kel-Tec RFB (.308 Winchester) is a semi-automatic bullpup rifle with a 26-inch overall length and an 18-inch chrome-lined barrel. ### Usage
The .308 caliber makes it capable on deer, hogs, or similar game, and the compact form translates well to home defense. Competitive shooters will appreciate the semi-auto action and magazine capacity. The 8.1-lb weight is on the heavier side for a bullpup, so it is better suited to deliberate use than all-day carry.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

The Kel-Tec RFB in Tactical Green draws consistent discussion around a handful of real-world concerns.

The bullpup layout is the main draw. Users get a rifle that handles like a carbine without giving up barrel length, and most find the balance comfortable for home defense or range work. Recoil is generally considered mild for a .308, which surprises some first-time owners.

Ergonomics divide opinion. Controls work well for some shooters and feel awkward for others, particularly left-handed users. The grip and stock geometry are non-adjustable, so fit is either right or it isn't.

Reliability feedback is mixed. Many owners report trouble-free operation across a range of .308 ammunition; others have seen feeding or ejection issues, and some trace these to magazine choice rather than the rifle itself. Aftermarket support is thin compared to AR-platform rifles, which limits options for those who want to modify or repair with off-the-shelf parts.

The Tactical Green finish gets a divided response. Some like the distinctive look, others would prefer black or FDE. Price-to-performance discussions are ongoing, with opinions split on whether the bullpup configuration justifies the cost over a conventional .308 semi-auto.
