### Detailed Features

The steel barrel contributes to accuracy at the target range, and the 5-inch length gives adequate sight radius for precision work. The aluminum frame is solid and consistent in feel across the full-size platform. Matte black on both frame and slide keeps glare down in bright outdoor conditions. The 10-round magazine means fewer reloads during practice runs, and the trigger pull on these Kimber rimfires is generally well-regarded.

### Usage

.22 LR is cost-effective for volume shooting, and the target-oriented design makes this a natural fit for organized rimfire competition or structured practice sessions. It's also a good option for newer shooters developing fundamentals without the recoil of centerfire calibers.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

Feedback on the Kimber Rimfire Target .22 LR tends to be positive, with accuracy and craftsmanship coming up most often. Owners appreciate how well it shoots at the range and generally find the trigger and ergonomics to be comfortable and controlled. Kimber's build quality shows in the fit and finish, which holds up to regular use.

The main criticisms are reliability with certain ammunition (some users have experienced occasional jams or misfires, which is a known .22 LR issue depending on ammo quality), and price. Some buyers feel the cost is on the high side relative to other rimfire options, though most who stick with it feel the quality justifies it.
