## Description

The Kriss Vector SDP Enhanced is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP with a 6.5-inch barrel and a 13+1 capacity. Its defining feature is the Super V recoil mitigation system, a mechanical design that redirects bolt energy downward rather than rearward, reducing muzzle rise on follow-up shots. The MultiCam FDE Cerakote finish is applied via a multi-coat process.

### Detailed Features

#### Delayed Blowback System
The Vector uses a delayed blowback action rather than the tilting-barrel design common in most semi-auto pistols. Combined with the Super V geometry, this cuts felt recoil and limits muzzle movement during rapid fire.

#### Super V Recoil Mitigation
The Super V mechanism redirects the bolt carrier downward at a 45-degree angle on cycling. This lowers the felt recoil impulse and keeps the muzzle on target for faster follow-up shots.

#### Pivoting Single-Stage Trigger
The trigger has a clean break with minimal take-up, avoiding the stacking common in DA/SA designs.

#### Low Profile Adjustable Flip Sights
The flip sights fold flat when not in use and adjust for windage and elevation. They sit low enough not to interfere with optic mounting.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

The KRISS Vector SDP Enhanced in .45 ACP FDE Multi-Cam gets a predictable split in owner feedback.

### Positive Feedback

- **Recoil system**: The Super V mechanism is the most-discussed feature. Owners who shoot it back-to-back with conventional pistols consistently note the difference in muzzle rise, especially in rapid fire.
- **Ergonomics**: Most users find the grip angle and controls comfortable, and the ambidextrous safety gets specific praise.
- **Versatility**: Owners use it for home defense, competition, and range work. The accessory rail and flip sights make it easy to configure for different setups.
- **Reliability**: Function reliability comes up regularly as a positive, with owners noting consistent cycling across different .45 ACP loads.

### Critical Feedback

- **Price**: The Vector costs more than comparable .45 ACP pistols, and some buyers feel the premium is hard to justify unless the recoil reduction is a specific priority.
- **Weight and size**: At 5.9 lbs with a 16.75-inch overall length, it is not a carry gun. A few buyers underestimate the size before purchase.
- **Learning curve**: The delayed blowback action and unusual form factor take adjustment for shooters used to conventional pistols.
- **Accessories**: Some owners note that finding Vector-specific parts or magazines in stock can be inconsistent depending on location and timing.
