The compact design is the most frequently cited advantage. It handles well for younger shooters and anyone who prefers a shorter stock. The .350 Legend caliber is well-regarded for deer hunting, with a good balance of effectiveness and manageable recoil. Bolt function and accuracy out of the box get consistently positive mentions. On the critical side, some users find the stock aesthetics and materials feel less refined than pricier options. The factory trigger, while functional, is a common upgrade target among experienced shooters. Magazine capacity draws occasional comparison against other platforms in the same category. ## Pricing **1 offers available** | Vendor | Price | |--------|-------| | Guns Com | $449.99 | ## Similar Products - [Savage AXIS II .350 Legend - 18" Matte Black Bolt Action Rifle](https://gunsnation.com/p/savage-axis-ii-350-legend-18-matte-black-bolt-action-rifle/UCCOZ22z) - [Savage AXIS LH .350 Legend Bolt Action Rifle, 18" Matte Black](https://gunsnation.com/p/savage-axis-lh-350-legend-bolt-action-rifle-18-matte-black/UCCOZ246) - [Savage Axis .350 Legend Bolt Rifle - 18" Black Synthetic](https://gunsnation.com/p/savage-axis-350-legend-bolt-rifle-18-black-synthetic/UCCOZ23l) - [Savage Axis 2 Compact Left-Handed .350 Legend Bolt-Action Rifle](https://gunsnation.com/p/savage-axis-2-compact-left-handed-350-legend-bolt-action-rifle/UCCOXxzN) - [Savage Axis 2 Compact XP Bolt-Action Rifle .350 Legend AccuTrigger](https://gunsnation.com/p/savage-axis-2-compact-xp-bolt-action-rifle-350-legend-accutrigger/UCCOXyB9) - [Savage Axis 2 Compact .350 Legend Bolt-Action Rifle - Matte Black](https://gunsnation.com/p/savage-axis-2-compact-350-legend-bolt-action-rifle-matte-black/UCCOXxvn) --- *Data from [GunsNation](https://gunsnation.com)*
