> This is not a super smooth bold action okay it's okay it works pretty good works fine for the purpose deer hunting is not a volume of fire sport.

> The only thing I change about this gun is whenever you rack it in the scope kind of get in the way and I really do not like the scope cover for it either that broke pretty instantly.

> The trigger itself is adjustable and doesn't come out too bad from the factory.

> 350 doesn't dump you too much it's pretty soft shooting cartridge so kids younger shooters shorter statured shooters all that sort of thing it's a really good advantage.

> Safety's up here on the tang forward is off back is on so it doesn't matter if you're right or left-handed it's very easy to access with your shooting hand thumb.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

The Savage Axis XP .350 Legend generates mixed but generally positive feedback. The price is the most common point of praise. Buyers consistently say it delivers good value for an entry-level hunting rifle, and new shooters appreciate the approachable ergonomics and light weight for carrying during long hunts. Accuracy with the .350 Legend, particularly at hunting distances when paired with the included scope, draws favorable comments, with many reporting tight groups without needing much adjustment.

On the critical side, some owners question the build quality relative to higher-priced rifles. The materials feel adequate but not premium. The factory trigger gets called out as heavier than ideal or slightly inconsistent. The bundled scope is usable but not highly regarded; serious users often plan to upgrade it. Aftermarket support for this specific model is also on the thin side compared to more popular platforms.
