Owners frequently comment on how solid it feels in hand and how reliable it runs across different ammunition. The SAO setup gets the most attention. The clean pull and sharp break stand out against the standard DA/SA P229, and users who prioritize precision say it noticeably improves their groups. The XRAY3 sights come up positively as well. The tritium and fiber optic combination works well in both bright conditions and low light, and owners report fast target acquisition. The main criticisms are weight and price. At 32 oz, it runs heavier than polymer-framed alternatives of similar capacity, which matters for all-day carry. The price point also gets flagged as a significant investment compared to other 9mm compacts. Some buyers feel the premium is worth it; others think comparable performance is available for less. Overall sentiment is favorable. Users who buy it tend to keep it and recommend it, particularly to anyone specifically looking for a compact SAO pistol. ## Pricing **1 offers available** | Vendor | Price | |--------|-------| | Guns Com | $999.99 | ## Similar Products - [Sig Sauer P229 Legion - Compact SAO 9mm Pistol with Night Sights](https://gunsnation.com/p/sig-sauer-p229-legion-compact-sao-9mm-pistol-with-night-sights/UCE3nOZ0f) - [Sig Sauer P229 Legion 9mm Compact - XRAY3 Sights, Legion Gray Finish](https://gunsnation.com/p/sig-sauer-p229-legion-9mm-compact-xray3-sights-legion-gray-finish/UCE3nOsPU) - [Sig Sauer P229 Legion R2 9mm Compact - XRAY3 Sights, 10+1 Capacity](https://gunsnation.com/p/sig-sauer-p229-legion-r2-9mm-compact-xray3-sights-10-1-capacity/UCE3nOsOs) - [Sig Sauer P938 Legion: 9mm Micro-Compact, SAO, XRAY3 Sights](https://gunsnation.com/p/sig-sauer-p938-legion-9mm-micro-compact-sao-xray3-sights/UCE3nOWea) - [Sig Sauer P229 Legion SAO - 9MM, 3.9" Barrel, Night Sights](https://gunsnation.com/p/sig-sauer-p229-legion-sao-9mm-3-9-barrel-night-sights/UCE3nOsOz) - [Sig Sauer P229 Legion RX 9mm SAO Pistol with X-RAY & ROMEO1 Sights](https://gunsnation.com/p/sig-sauer-p229-legion-rx-9mm-sao-pistol-with-x-ray-romeo1-sights/UCE3nOi7l) --- *Data from [GunsNation](https://gunsnation.com)*
