> It is ambidextrous so if you're a lefty you can run this gun right out of the box.

> You do have a nice fat wide grip on there so if you do have large hands it's still a very shootable handgun.

> Not a ton of capacity but honestly it has enough for a concealed carry gun I would say I would give this a 7-1.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

The Sig Sauer P938 SAS draws mostly positive reactions with a few well-documented caveats.

**Positive Sentiments:**
1. **Compact Size**: The most frequently cited advantage. Owners consistently highlight how easy it is to conceal in an IWB holster or pocket carry setup.

2. **Build Quality**: The fit and finish of the alloy frame and stainless slide are consistently praised as premium for the size class.

3. **Accuracy**: Despite the 3-inch barrel, owners report good accuracy at typical defensive distances.

4. **Night Sights**: The SIGLITE factory sights are called out specifically as a practical feature for defensive use.

5. **Ergonomics**: The walnut grip and overall control layout are well-received. Most shooters find the controls intuitive.

**Critical Feedback:**
1. **Recoil Management**: 9mm in a 16 oz single-stack frame is snappy. Newer shooters in particular note that managing recoil for quick follow-up shots takes practice.

2. **Capacity Concerns**: 6+1 rounds is low relative to larger carry options. This is an accepted trade-off for the compact size but comes up in comparisons with similarly priced alternatives.

3. **Price Point**: The P938 sits above some comparable subcompacts in price, which generates debate about value.

4. **Break-In Period**: A number of owners report initial feeding issues with hollow-point ammunition that resolve after a break-in period of 200-300 rounds.

5. **Maintenance Needs**: The tight tolerances require consistent cleaning. Owners who neglect maintenance more than with larger pistols report more sensitivity to fouling.
