> The grip texture is really good on this one it's fine but somehow still allows you to sort of lock in really nicely like the full-size gun.

> My biggest issue with the gun is the lack of support for the larger capacity magazines from the full-size gun.

> You can over insert the larger magazines and break the ejector if you're not careful.

> It loses a point off the top for only coming with two mags it's 2025 manufacturers need to stop this put more mags in the Box.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

Owners of the Springfield Armory Echelon frequently point to the optic-ready platform and the included Gear Pac bundle as the main draw. Getting four magazines and a pre-mounted Viridian RFX11 out of the box is a practical value proposition that range shooters and duty users both appreciate.

The Echelon's grip ergonomics get consistent praise: the modular grip system lets shooters dial in fit, and most find the 4-inch barrel version comfortable in both full-size holsters and for extended range sessions. The Melonite finish holds up well to regular carry, with owners reporting minimal wear at common friction points.

The trigger is adequate but not a standout. Some owners swap it early, particularly competition shooters who want a shorter reset. Reliability with the factory 15-round magazines is generally reported as solid across a variety of 9mm loads, though first-round feeding on the Viridian RFX11 integration occasionally draws a comment about dot alignment during initial zeroing.
