## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

The TX22 Compact in Black gets consistent positive marks for value. It's well-regarded as a budget-friendly .22 LR optics-ready pistol. The smooth trigger and low recoil make range sessions comfortable for new and experienced shooters alike. The 13+1 capacity and optics-ready slide are the main selling points that come up repeatedly in positive reviews.

The recurring concerns are the same across the TX22 line: reliability with certain bulk .22 LR ammunition (some users report feeding issues or misfires with specific brands), trigger feel compared to higher-end pistols, and build quality relative to premium alternatives. Some shooters mention the grip ergonomics could be improved for rapid-fire scenarios, and aftermarket customization options are limited compared to more established platforms.

Most users categorize it as a training and plinking gun rather than a self-defense primary, though the compact dimensions make it workable for home defense.
