## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

Owners of the Taylor's & Co. Stallion comment most on the Birdshead grip, which gives the revolver a distinctive silhouette and shortens the overall package compared to a standard plow-handle. Those who shoot cowboy action find the grip transitions quickly from holster to target, though shooters with larger hands note the checkered surface can dig in after a long session.

The SAO trigger on the Uberti action is generally well-regarded. Most buyers find it crisp and consistent right out of the box, and the cylinder lockup is tight enough that accuracy at practical distances isn't an issue. A few report that the timing needs a slight adjustment from the factory, which a competent gunsmith handles quickly.

Value perception is positive among cowboy-action competitors who see the Stallion as a cost-effective alternative to higher-priced American-made options. Casual buyers sometimes question whether the .38 Special chambering is worth the trade-off versus a .357 Magnum, but owners who actually shoot it appreciate the milder recoil and lower ammunition cost.
