## Description

The Uberti 1860 Army Fluted is a black-powder percussion revolver in .44 caliber, a reproduction of the Colt 1860 Army. It does not fire cartridges: each of its 6 chambers is loaded from the front with loose powder and a lead ball, and fired by a percussion cap on a nipple at the rear of the cylinder. Like the original, it is a single action, so the hammer is cocked by hand before every shot.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

The craftsmanship is the most consistent point of praise. Users note the attention to detail in the blue finish and walnut grip, and the overall fit and finish matches what you'd expect from Uberti's reproduction line. Performance at the range is generally positive - the action runs smoothly and accuracy is good for a single-action with an 8-inch barrel. Cowboy action shooters in particular find it well-suited to their events.

Most owners land in a positive place overall, especially those who knew what they were getting into with a period-style single-action.
