> It is a pretty light rifle. The trigger on this thing is really good. It just breaks. There's no creep to it or anything.

> Not real fan of the way the open sights adjust on there because when you loosen that screw up, your top piece, your rear sight can move all directions, not just forward and backward, but side to side, too.

> They are not very visible. Uh these would definitely benefit you to uh put a little bit of paint on them so you can see them a little bit easier.

> I think it's a pretty good rifle anyways. Extremely smooth on the action there.

## What Customers Say

*AI-generated insights from customer reviews*

The Winchester XPERT .22 LR gets solid marks for precision and accuracy in target shooting and small game work. The threaded barrel is frequently called out as a standout feature. Owners who run suppressors appreciate not needing an adapter. Build quality and ergonomics are generally well-received; the rifle feels substantial for its 4.25-lb. weight.

The bolt can be stiff right out of the box on some units, though most owners report it smooths out with use. Trigger opinions are split: shooters who want a budget-friendly starting point find it acceptable, while those used to refined triggers tend to want more from it. Overall the rifle is viewed as strong value for the price, particularly for newer shooters or those wanting a dedicated suppressor host in .22 LR.
