Cobra Firearms, registered as Cobra Enterprises of Utah, was founded in 2001 in Salt Lake City and built derringers and compact handguns in the United States. Company president Doug Skillman described the derringers as close replicas of the old Remington design, and they were offered in a range of calibres and barrel lengths with a lifetime warranty. Models include the Classic and Big Bore in .22 LR, .22 Magnum, .38 Special and 9mm, with alloy frames and rosewood or black grips. The company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in February 2020, and the rights and tooling for the derringer line went to Bearman Industries.
