Fortis Manufacturing makes AR-pattern components in the United States, with handguards and rails as its main line. The Night Rail and REV II series are free-float handguards machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, and the SWITCH rail was first designed for the .308 platform before being adapted to the AR-15. Fortis also makes charging handles for both the AR-15 and the AR-10. Its Gen 2 lower receivers are sold stripped and as matched receiver sets in 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington.
