Global Defense is a family-owned importer, exporter and wholesale distributor of firearms, parts, ammunition and equipment for commercial, military and law enforcement customers. Its Military 1911 is built close to the original pattern in .45 ACP, with a 5-inch barrel, a 9-round magazine and a Mil-Spec matte black finish, and the range also includes the GI 1911 with a 4.25-inch barrel and the single-action Thunderbolt. The FG-9 is a 9mm carbine styled after the German FG42, made by Rhineland Arms from aluminium, steel and wood, using AR-15 9mm magazines and fire control parts.
