LHR Sporting Arms
LHR Sporting Arms was started by four people whose combined experience at Thompson/Center covered sales, research and development, operations, manufacturing and finance. It introduced its first rifle, the Redemption, in January 2013. The Redemption is a break-action in-line .50 calibre muzzleloader built around the patent-pending Adapt breech system, which is meant to make cleaning quick. It uses a propellant-specific ignition system, a Stealth Striker cocking mechanism that avoids the scope clearance problems of a hammer, and the company's Armornite coating against black powder corrosion. The catalog lists a Precision Hunter in .50 calibre.
