Beretta USA has introduced the A400 Solo, a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun aimed at waterfowl and upland hunters. It will be offered with 26-, 28- and 30-inch barrels in black synthetic and several camouflage finishes.

The shotgun uses Beretta's B-LINK Pro gas system. According to the company, the system cycles up to 36% faster and runs 46% cleaner while handling loads ranging from light target ammunition to heavy magnum hunting shells. Beretta also claims its Kick-Off Plus system reduces felt recoil by up to 40%. These percentages are manufacturer claims and have not been independently tested by GunsNation.

Other listed features include a Steelium cold hammer-forged barrel with an 80 mm forcing cone, OptimaChoke HP extended chokes, a tool-free B-Lok magazine cap and a weather-resistant B-Uffer recoil pad. The aluminum receiver is paired with adjustable stock shims and spacers, plus a reversible safety.

The black synthetic A400 Solo starts at an announced MSRP of $1,549. Camouflage versions start at $1,649, with availability varying by finish and configuration. Beretta plans to show the shotgun at the Ducks Unlimited Expo beginning July 31, 2026.
