Holosun Lists AEMS Core X2 and Pro X2 Optics in Three Reticle Colors
Holosun’s AEMS Core X2 and AEMS Pro X2 listings now cover six enclosed rifle sights, split between Core and Pro versions and offered with red, green, or gold illumination. All six are 1x Picatinny optics built around a 1.1 by 0.87-inch viewing window and an included lower one-third co-witness mount. The updated optical system is described by Holosun as reducing parallax by 50 percent. These are specification and pricing listings, not independent test results, and Holosun does not state a shared retail-release date on the pages.
Core X2 keeps the controls simple
Each Core X2 uses a single 2 MOA dot rather than a selectable circle-dot system. The red and gold pages list each optic at $352.93, while the green version is listed at $370.58. Holosun gives the red emitter a 650nm wavelength, green 540nm, and gold 590nm. Color and price are the meaningful choices inside the Core group; the three pages otherwise publish the same dimensions, mount geometry, power source, brightness count, adjustment range, and environmental ratings.
The Core models use a side-loading CR2032 battery and carry a stated battery-life figure of 50,000 hours. They provide 10 daylight settings and two night-vision settings, plus Shake Awake, automatic shutoff, memory, manual brightness control, and lockout mode. They do not include solar power, automatic brightness, or a selectable reticle. A side tray means the battery can be changed without taking the sight off its mount, which avoids the remounting step required by bottom-access battery designs.
