Holosun Adds Green HE407C-X3 and HE507C-X3 Pistol Optics
Holosun’s HE407C-X3-GR and HE507C-X3-GR are new-for-2026 green open-emitter pistol optics built around the RMR footprint. The HE407C-X3-GR supplies one 2 MOA green dot and is listed at $294.11. The HE507C-X3-GR adds Holosun’s selectable Multi-Reticle System and is listed at $388.22, a $94.11 difference on the manufacturer pages. Holosun explicitly marks the 507 model “Available Now,” while the 407 page does not carry the same availability line.
Dot-only and selectable-reticle versions
The 407’s aiming system is fixed: a 2 MOA green dot from a 540nm LED. The 507 uses the same listed wavelength but lets the user choose a 2 MOA dot, 32 MOA circle, or combined circle-dot. Both are 1x sights with unlimited eye relief and multi-coated glass. Adjustment clicks are 1 MOA, and both provide plus or minus 30 MOA of windage and elevation travel. That makes reticle selection, rather than mounting pattern or adjustment geometry, the main functional distinction.
Both models use a side-loading CR1632 battery, so routine replacement does not require removing the optic from the pistol. Holosun gives each a battery-life figure of up to 100,000 hours on setting six. Their feature lists include Solar Failsafe, a forward-facing light sensor, Shake Awake, automatic shutoff, memory, manual brightness adjustment, automatic brightness, and lockout mode. The detailed tables list eight daylight and four night-vision settings, although the 507’s features section separately says ten daylight and two night-vision settings. That internal conflict should be resolved before relying on the exact mode count.
