Leupold Launches the $899.99 LCO Pro F2 Carbine Red Dot
Leupold has launched the LCO Pro F2, a true 1x carbine red-dot sight priced at $899.99. The optic brings the company's LCO name back with a new reticle system and updated electronics.
The sight offers four selectable patterns: a 1 MOA dot, a dot with compass points, a 65 MOA segmented-circle dot, and the segmented circle with compass points. Its illumination dial provides 20 daylight settings and 10 night-vision settings. Leupold's Motion Sensor Technology switches illumination off after five minutes without movement and turns it back on when the optic moves.
Leupold says the aspheric lens is designed to provide a distortion-free image across the field of view. The company also lists waterproofing to 33 feet, an operating test range from minus 40 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit, and survival testing through 5,000 impacts on its recoil simulation machine. Those are manufacturer test claims, not independent GunsNation test results.
The LCO Pro F2 is designed, machined and assembled in the United States and carries Leupold's lifetime guarantee. Leupold's product page lists a $899.99 price and directs buyers to local dealers, while its series page currently labels the black and flat dark earth versions as out of stock or coming soon. Dealer availability may therefore vary during the launch.
