Springfield Armory announced the Kuna Tri-Lug 9mm on August 25, 2026, adding an integral three-lug suppressor interface to its roller-delayed large-format pistol. The new version uses a 6.6-inch barrel with three lugs machined directly at the muzzle. Springfield says a compatible suppressor mounts or comes off with a push-and-twist motion and no tools. That is the defining change from the threaded-muzzle Kuna configurations already in the line, not a new operating system or caliber.

Four configurations at launch

Springfield lists four commercial SKUs. The unbraced, standard-capacity KN9069BTL carries a $1,179 MSRP, while KN9069BTL-FSA includes a side-folding Strike Industries FSA brace and is priced at $1,330. Restricted-market versions substitute 10-round magazines: KN9069BTLLC at $1,179 and KN9069BTLLC-FSA at $1,330. The company also lists separate UPCs for all four models, which should help buyers distinguish the Tri-Lug guns from the earlier 9mm Kuna variants when checking inventory or paperwork.

The UPC attached to KN9069BTL is 706397000882, and the braced KN9069BTL-FSA is 706397000899. Springfield assigns 706397010980 to the 10-round KN9069BTLLC and 706397011055 to the braced, 10-round KN9069BTLLC-FSA. Those identifiers matter because the model family includes other 9mm and .40 S&W Kuna pistols, some with the same $1,179 or $1,330 MSRP. The Tri-Lug designation and full commercial SKU, rather than price alone, identify the new muzzle setup.
