Features

The ComforTech stock uses a gel recoil pad and a chevron-pattern internal recoil-absorbing system to cut felt recoil. In a competition context where you might fire 50+ rounds in a stage, that adds up. The HiVIZ Comp front sight and XS Sight Systems Express Sight are set up for fast target acquisition rather than precision work at distance.

Five Crio chokes are included (Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, Full), which gives you real flexibility across stage types. The Nordic bolt handle and RCI-SRAIL modifications improve loading speed. Both are competition-focused upgrades that would cost extra on a standard M2. The 24-inch barrel gives a good balance between swing speed and pattern development.

The Benelli M2 3-Gun gets strong reviews in the competitive shooting community. Three-gun shooters credit it with smooth, reliable cycling across a wide range of loads, from light target loads to heavy buckshot, which matters when stage requirements vary. The 24-inch barrel is generally liked for its handling in dynamic movement stages.

The ComforTech stock comes up often as a genuine comfort improvement during high-round-count matches. The weight at 6.75 lbs is considered reasonable for what it is.

The price is the main sticking point. This is a higher-end shotgun, and buyers who are newer to the sport sometimes find the cost hard to justify against budget semi-autos. The other commonly mentioned point is the learning curve when transitioning from pump-action. The gas-operated system behaves differently and takes some rounds to get used to.

For shooters who've committed to competing seriously, the general consensus is that the quality holds up over time and the competition-specific modifications justify the premium over the base M2.
