Features 

 
The M2 Field ships with flush Crio chokes (C, IC, M, IM, F) and a wrench. The ComforTech gel recoil pad reduces felt recoil noticeably during long sessions, and the user-adjustable shim kit lets you dial in stock drop and cast for your body type. Three length-of-pull spacers (13 7/8", 14 3/8", or 14 3/4") are included, along with a standard hard case. 
 
Extended Crio chokes optimized for pass shooting and waterfowl are also available separately. The Realtree Max-7 camo coverage blends well in marsh and flooded timber environments. 
 

Uses 

 
The lightweight 6.8-lb build makes it easy to carry through upland cover all day, and the inertia action handles a wide range of loads reliably. It works equally well for trap and skeet given the smooth cycling and good barrel weight.

The M2 Field Gen 3 in Realtree Max-7 gets generally solid marks from hunters. The semi-auto action cycles reliably even in wet or cold conditions, and the lightweight build is appreciated on long days in the field. Waterfowl and upland hunters both mention the camo pattern performs well in natural cover.

The price is the most common objection. Most buyers concede the quality justifies the cost, though it gives some pause compared to cheaper alternatives. Recoil is manageable for most shooters, but a handful of users who are recoil-sensitive suggest looking at aftermarket pads as an upgrade.
