Key Specifications

Action: Semi-Automatic
Barrel Length: 28 inches
Capacity: 3 rounds
Finish: Gore Optifade Marsh
Gauge: 12 GA
Weight: 7 lbs.

Detailed Features

The semi-automatic action cycles without manual intervention, allowing faster follow-up shots on moving birds. The 28-inch barrel gives a longer sighting radius useful for swinging on crossing targets. The Optifade Marsh pattern is specifically designed for wetland concealment. At 7 lbs, the gun is light enough for long days afield without sacrificing much in felt recoil management. Three-round capacity is standard for most hunting regulations.

Target Audience

Primarily suited for waterfowl hunters working marshes, flooded fields, or tidal flats. Also fits sport shooters who want a dependable semi-auto for clay target disciplines.

Usage Scenarios

Waterfowl hunting: Optifade Marsh finish helps with concealment; semi-auto action handles fast follow-up shots.
Upland and clay target shooting: 28-inch barrel suits swing-through shooting styles.

Breaking down your gun for cleaning literally takes a matter of seconds and that's pretty sweet.

The safety is also in front of the trigger instead of behind that's not really a pro or a con more of a personal preference.

The raised edges around the shell carrier could make it more difficult to load shells into the magazine quickly.

Owners of the Benelli Super Vinci Gen 2 in 12GA with the Optifade Marsh finish generally rate it highly for waterfowl use, with a few consistent points of discussion.

The lightweight build and semi-automatic action are the most praised features. Hunters note that the low felt recoil lets them stay on target for quick follow-up shots, which matters when birds are moving fast. The Optifade Marsh pattern is seen as genuinely effective in wetland environments, not just cosmetic. Overall function in wet conditions gets good marks.

The main criticisms are price and fit. The Super Vinci Gen 2 sits at the higher end of the semi-auto shotgun market, which some buyers question relative to the competition. Stock dimensions don't work equally well for all shooters, and a few owners note that extended use in wet or muddy conditions requires more frequent cleaning to keep the action running reliably.
