Detailed Features

The Steelium barrels are cold hammer-forged, which contributes to consistent shot patterns and reduced recoil. The two conical locking lugs positioned between the barrels give the action a low-profile receiver that aids pointability. Balance is set at the hinge-pin.

The Optima-Choke HP system allows quick choke swaps for different targets or conditions. The select walnut stock has checkering for grip and an oil finish that shows the wood's grain. The single selective trigger lets you choose which barrel fires first.

The 686 Silver Pigeon I LH draws consistent praise for its smooth action and balance. Most owners describe the handling as comfortable and natural, which is a consistent theme in reviews. The engraved receiver and walnut stock are appreciated by those who value traditional shotgun aesthetics.

Versatility across clay shooting and hunting is frequently mentioned. Weight can be a consideration for shooters planning long carries in the field. Some find the price high, though most who own one consider the quality and longevity worth the cost.
