Detailed Features

The Optima-Choke HP system accepts interchangeable tubes; Modified and Full are included, with additional options available separately. The fiber optic front bead provides clear sight reference across lighting conditions. At 6.70 lbs., the gun handles quickly without sacrificing stability on longer shots.

The Beretta A400 Xplor Action 28GA in the bronze/walnut configuration draws consistently positive feedback from owners who value both function and appearance. The bronze receiver paired with select walnut stock gets regular compliments for its look.

Handling is the most-cited strength: the 6.70 lb. weight in 28-gauge makes it comfortable across long sessions at the range or in the field. Recoil reduction is frequently mentioned as genuinely effective, which matters more with lighter 28-gauge loads. Reliability and smooth cycling are widely reported as consistent.

Price is a recurring topic. Most owners feel the craftsmanship justifies it, though comparisons to other semi-autos occasionally come up. Adjustable stock options and easy maintenance get positive mentions, while a few users have had mixed experiences with customer service depending on the situation.
