The Bergara B-14 HMR is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 25 Creedmoor, built on Bergara's Hunting and Match Rifle platform. Its 24-inch, No. 6 taper barrel is Chrome Moly steel, free-floated, threaded 5/8x24, and finished in Graphite Black Cerakote with a thread protector capping the muzzle. The stock is tan synthetic with black flecks and wraps a mini-chassis for repeatable bedding, with an adjustable cheekpiece and length-of-pull spacers.

Detailed Features

• The mini-chassis inside the HMR stock, plus the adjustable cheekpiece and length-of-pull spacers, let a shooter dial in fit.
• A detachable AICS-type magazine gives the rifle 5+1 capacity.
• The free-floated barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and ships with a thread protector rather than a brake.
• A two-position safety pairs with Bergara's B-14 action for field use.
• The receiver is drilled and tapped for Remington 700 pattern scope bases.

Shooters who pick up the B-14 HMR in 25 Creedmoor generally report tight, repeatable accuracy from the action, which mirrors the reputation Bergara built with the standard B-14 line. The Graphite Black finish resists the usual scuffs from range bags and cases, and the free-floated barrel keeps point of impact stable as it heats up.

The HMR stock's mini-chassis and adjustable cheekpiece are the features owners mention most, since they let the rifle fit a range of body types without swapping parts. Because this version ships with a thread protector instead of a brake, some owners find themselves budgeting for a muzzle device separately if they want a suppressor or brake down the line. The tan and black stock color draws generally positive comments for standing apart from the usual black synthetic look.

Value-wise, the B-14 HMR lands in the middle of Bergara's lineup: pricier than Bergara's base hunting rifles but well under the fully chassis-based Premier models. Its Remington 700 footprint keeps triggers, stocks, and bottom metal easy to source, which owners like when planning future upgrades.
