The Black Rain Ordnance Frontline+ in Robin's Egg Blue attracts buyers who want a functional compact 9mm with a distinctive finish. Owners who chose the colorway generally report the finish holds up better than expected under regular range use. The two-tone treatment draws attention, and most owners consider that a feature rather than a liability.

Functionally, the Frontline+ shares its core platform with the standard Frontline, so the 15+1 capacity and 3.75-inch barrel receive similar feedback. The plus designation draws some discussion among owners, with most agreeing it reflects refinements to the base model rather than a wholesale redesign. Trigger feel splits opinion, landing between acceptable for carry use and not quite a match trigger.

For value, the Robin's Egg Blue Frontline+ occupies a narrow niche: a compact 9mm with a non-standard finish at a price that reflects the added cosmetic work. Some owners feel the finish adds meaningful cost without a mechanical benefit. Others appreciate having the option and note the polymer grips are a starting point for customization.
