Detailed Features

The free-floating barrel keeps harmonics consistent shot to shot, which helps accuracy at the distances .22 WMR is typically used. The adjustable gold-plated trigger has a smooth pull that can be set to preference. The polished blued finish looks clean and protects the metal. The Monte Carlo comb stock positions the shooter's eye well for scope use, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for easy mounting of rings.

The Browning T-Bolt in .22 WMR gets consistently positive marks for accuracy and build quality. Shooters note the bolt cycles smoothly and the rifle handles well at range, with tight groupings being a frequent observation. The lightweight build at 5 lbs 10 oz makes it easy to carry for small game hunting.

The craftsmanship is generally praised. The walnut stock and fit and finish reflect Browning's build standards. The adjustable trigger is appreciated, and the 10+1 capacity is more than adequate for most uses.

The main reported issue is magazine reliability. Some users mention feeding problems or difficulty loading the detachable magazine, which comes up more in .22 WMR discussions than .22 LR. Finding aftermarket parts and accessories can also be harder than for more common rimfire platforms. Price is noted as higher than some comparable .22 WMR options, though most buyers feel the quality supports it.
