Shooters who pick up the X-Bolt 2 in 6.5 PRC generally report smooth cycling and good accuracy for a factory hunting rifle. The threaded, fluted barrel and Cerakote finish get credit for holding up well in rough weather and rocky terrain.

The adjustable Vari-Tech stock is popular with hunters who want to fine-tune length of pull and comb height for a scoped rig, and the shorter bolt lift is often mentioned as making follow-up shots quicker. A handful of owners feel the recoil is stouter than expected in a lighter-weight rifle, especially without a suppressor mounted.

On value, buyers compare the X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR to other 6.5 PRC options and generally see the threaded barrel, adjustable stock and Cerakote finish as good inclusions for the price point. Parts and optics compatibility with the broader X-Bolt lineup make it easy to accessorize.
