The Century Arms Draco 9S is a 9mm semi-automatic AK-pattern pistol with an 11-inch barrel and a 35-round magazine. It ships with an SB Tactical SOB47 pistol brace. The Draco 9S uses a pistol-caliber AK platform chambered in 9mm rather than a rifle cartridge.

Owners of the Draco 9S tend to highlight the novelty of the AK platform in a pistol-caliber format. The combination of the AK action with 9mm is a common conversation point at the range, and the 35-round magazine capacity is frequently mentioned as a practical feature.

The SB Tactical brace that ships with the package gets mixed reactions. Some find it a useful addition that improves control; others swap it out immediately for their preferred configuration. Reliability reports are generally positive with quality 9mm ammunition, though a subset of owners note the platform can be sensitive to underpowered loads during break-in.

Build quality on Century Arms products draws divided opinions. Many owners find the fit and finish acceptable for the price point, while a vocal minority notes tighter tolerances would be welcome. The Draco 9S is often described as a range-oriented piece rather than a primary carry option.

The Draco 9S shoots great. I have been very happy with how it performs and feels overall.
