The 7075 aluminum alloy frame keeps weight at 12 oz while maintaining structural integrity. Fixed sights keep the profile snag-free for carry. Functionally it's the same DA/SA compact .38 Special platform as other Charter Arms lightweight revolvers.

Usage Scenarios

At 12 oz and 2" barrel, this is a concealed carry revolver. The .38 Special caliber is effective at typical defensive distances. The compact size and lighter weight make it accessible for shooters who find larger revolvers difficult to manage.

The Charter Arms Lavender Lady generates discussion primarily around two things: the finish and the practicality for carry. The lavender color draws positive attention from owners who want a firearm with a distinct look, and the compact size and light weight are consistently praised as carry-friendly.

Performance feedback is generally positive. Most owners report reliable operation, which is the baseline expectation for a DA revolver used for self-defense. Trigger pull weight and long-term finish durability are the most common concerns. The price is seen as competitive for a compact revolver. Community discussions also note this model as a reasonable choice for new shooters who want a straightforward DA mechanism without a lot of controls to manage.
