The Chiappa Little Badger .22 WMR draws two predictable camps of response. Most owners buy it for the weight and packability. At 2.9 lbs and folding to a compact form, it's genuinely useful for backpacking and survival kit roles. The price is frequently called out as a strong point. Shooters who use it for casual plinking or small game tend to be satisfied.

Criticism centers on build quality: some components feel less durable than expected, and there are mixed reports on accuracy at longer distances. The single-shot limitation and limited accessory options are mentioned by those who wanted more from the platform. The general takeaway is that it does what it was designed for (a lightweight, affordable .22 WMR tool) without pretending to be more.

What stands out immediately is how light this little folding rifle feels without seeming flimsy. Mine has been accurate and useful around the farm, where it has accounted for plenty of varmints. The construction feels solid, and the compact format makes it easy to keep available when an opportunity to shoot comes up. It is a simple firearm, but that is much of its appeal. Between the low weight, dependable feel, and the accuracy I have seen, it has proven to be a very satisfying small rifle.

This folding rifle is light to carry yet feels remarkably solid. Mine was accurate right out of the box, with a very good trigger and simple cleanup. Folded, it fits inside an ordinary overnight bag, and the stock conveniently holds 12 spare rounds.
