Detailed Features

The carbon fiber stock accounts for much of the weight advantage over comparable steel or aluminum-stocked .300 Win Mag rifles. The fully adjustable match trigger can be set to the shooter's preferred pull weight. The baffle brake muzzle device reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise noticeably for the caliber. The aluminum receiver is finished in black nitride. Optics mount directly to the integrated base.

TFM Gen 3 owners in .300 Win Mag consistently highlight the carbon fiber construction and the bolt action smoothness. The lightweight design for a .300 Win Mag rifle is cited frequently as the main reason buyers chose this over heavier alternatives.

Accuracy at long range draws consistent praise, and the adjustable trigger is mentioned positively by shooters who dial it in for competition or precision field use.

Price is the main point of contention, as it is with most Christensen Arms rifles at this level. Most owners who discuss cost ultimately conclude it was worth it for the performance, though some acknowledge it is a significant investment compared to other .300 Win Mag options.
