The DDM4 V7 Pro Series is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 223 Rem / 5.56 NATO with an 18-inch S2W barrel. The Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish and collapsible/folding stock with soft touch coating are standard. At 7.4 lbs with an adjustable overall length of 34.75" to 37.87", it is a solid mid-weight AR build oriented toward precision and competition use.
The Geissele SD-3G trigger is the standout component here. Short reset and crisp break make a genuine difference in rapid follow-up shots and timed stages. The MFR 15.0 M-Lok rail gives full-length accessory real estate without significant weight addition. The GRIP-N-RIP charging handle is a minor but useful upgrade over mil-spec for positive manipulation under any conditions.
The 7075-T6 aluminum receiver is the standard for quality AR builds, offering good strength-to-weight. The folding/collapsible stock combination gives transport and storage flexibility beyond a standard collapsible-only design. The rifle ships in a full-latch impact plastic case.
Flash reduction actually was pretty noticeable during a recent night shoot compared to my gun.
The ddm4 v7 is your standard ar-15 pistol lightweight soft shooting and solid ergonomics.
Stock trigger is okay i'm not a huge fan of the sort of weird pseudo two-stage thing that's going on here but it's also not a deal breaker.
After longer sessions with the v7 i found my dominant wrist feeling a little bit strange it's not anything crazy but it felt worth mentioning nonetheless.
Getting into the habit of flicking the fire selector on and off with the knuckle of my trigger finger actually feels way more natural.

The Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 Pro in Flat Dark Earth gets strong marks from owners. Build quality is the most consistent point of praise. The rifle feels well-made and the Geissele trigger is a highlight for most buyers, noticeably better than standard triggers in this caliber.
Accuracy at range is well-reviewed, and the ergonomic design holds up during extended use. The FDE finish is well-liked both aesthetically and for providing some visual break-up in the field.
Price is the main objection that comes up. Some buyers consider it on the high end for an AR-platform rifle, though most who buy it conclude the quality justifies the cost. Availability and backorders get mentioned occasionally given demand.
Overall sentiment is positive. Most owners recommend it to other shooters looking for a well-equipped, accurate AR with a quality trigger already installed.
