The Diamondback DB10 Carbon is an AR-10 style pistol chambered in .308 Win, built with a 13.5 inch threaded barrel and finished in Flat Dark Earth. It ships with an SBA3 brace rather than a shoulder stock, keeping it in pistol configuration, and feeds from a 20-round magazine. The layout suits a shooter who wants a compact .308 Win build on a familiar AR-10 lower and upper without the added length of a shouldered rifle.

AR-10 pattern pistols like the DB10 draw on a well proven receiver design, and owners generally report reliable cycling once the gun is broken in with a couple hundred rounds. A few early owners mention needing to try a different magazine brand before it ran cleanly.

Shooting a .308 Win pistol without a shoulder stock produces noticeably more recoil and muzzle blast than a smaller caliber AR-pattern pistol, and the SBA3 brace helps manage that without fully taming it. The 13.5 inch barrel keeps the DB10 front heavy for some shooters, though others like the balance it gives for close range use.

AR-10 pattern parts compatibility gives the DB10 decent aftermarket support for optics, grips, and rails. Large format .308 Win magazines and lowers do tend to cost more than smaller caliber options, but owners generally see the DB10 as a reasonable entry point into large format pistols.
